CTRL Key Bound Shortcuts:

Shortcut Function
Tab Used to Auto-complete file and folder names
CTRL+W It is Used to Delete the word before the cursor
CTRL+K Used to Clear the line after the cursor
CTRL+T This shortcut will Swap the last two characters before the cursor
Esc+T Used to Swap the last two words before the cursor
Alt+F Helps to Move cursor forward one word on the current line
Alt+B Used to Move cursor backward one word on the current line
CTRL+A This shortcut will Go to the beginning of the line you are currently typing on
CTRL+E It will Go to the end of the line you are currently typing on
CTRL+L Used to Clear the screen
CTRL+U Used to clear the line before the cursor position. If you are at the end of the line, clears the entire line
CTRL+H The function of this shortcut is Same as backspace
CTRL+R Used to Search through previously used commands
CTRL+C It will Kill whatever you are running
CTRL+D Used to Exit the current shell
CTRL+Z Used to Put whatever you are running into a suspended background process. Type fg to restore it
